Cigoland

The stork (cigogne) is an annual visitor to the region and is encouraged to nest by many. The Cigoland park is named after this magnificent bird. The park includes 15 rides suitable for all ages and over 25 species of animals. It offers the opportunity to spend the day in a beautiful environment.

You will be able to see the white storks with over 100 birds in total in the park. 
There is a restaurant and other eateries on site and in the summer there is usually a circus spectacle included in the ticket price. For further details check : www.cigoland.fr

La Ligne Maginot









The " Maginot Line " is the most sophisticated system of fortifications that France ever realized. After the war of 1914-1918, the modification of the layout of the borders requires to reconsider the defense of the territory completely. www.lignemaginot.com

This automotive museum has an impressive range of cars on display ranging from some of the very first built through to sports cars and even including a Bugatti Veyron. There is a railway museum quite close to it too if you are interested.


Le Parc de l'Orangerie in Strasbourg



This is a lovely park to spend a couple of hours walking around and enjoying the sunshine. During the summer months, concerts often take place in this park. 

Le Mont Sainte-Odile

Mont Sainte-Odile is a 760 m peak of the Vosges Mountains in Alsace in France, immediately west of Barr. The mountain is named after Saint Odile. It has a monastery/convent at its top called the Hohenburg Abbey, and is notable also for its stone fortifications called "the Pagan Wall."
