There are numerous cycle trails that exist in the Department of Bas-Rhin (Northern Alsace). Approx. 2000 km cycling trails in Alsace.
The Vallee de Ville counts 150 km of mountain bike tracks.The Tourist Office have produced a pack of circular mountain biking routes. These are available at the Gite for your use. If you like cycling on roads, you can choose between many challenging routes including great ascent. The Tour de France often passes through Alsace as it offers challenging routes with its hilly climbs (cols).
Alsace is an ideal location for family cycling thanks to the "pistes cyclables" (cycle paths)
